Indian tech companies have got a new opportunity to show their ability. The biggest advantage of these will be the native applications with features like the famous TikTok. Millions of downloads of Roposo and Chingari, the two main apps have been downloaded. As well as Roposo, 2.2 million downloads have been made in just two days after the ban on Tiktok. Chinagri has also crossed the 1.1 crore mark in the last few days. Up to 10 lakh downloads have been recorded in 30 minutes of the Tiktok ban immediately after the announcement. From 30 to 5 pm on June 30, Chingari was downloaded three to six lakh times per hour, although it had barely touched the one lakh mark till about one and a half years after its introduction in the market.

Sumit Ghosh, the co-founder of Chingari, says that 6 million downloads per hour have never been made through the Facebook app. On the other hand, founder of Roposo, Mayank Bhangarhia has expressed apprehension of crossing the 10 million mark of the app in a few days. Since 2014, Roposo, which has been included on Android, now has more than 80 million downloads. It had 5 million downloads before TikTok was shut down. TikTok had over 200 million subscribers in India. The recognition of Chingari has been increased by a tweet of 28 June by industrialist Anand Mahindra. Mahindra said, "I never used TikTok, but downloaded it supporting this native app."

The owner of Roposo and Chingari is extremely upset to meet the technical requirements due to increasing demand in the market. Mayank says, he has been able to sleep for only 5-7 hours in the last few days. The same situation is with Sumit Ghosh. He says, he and his team could not sleep for 48 hours if the download increased immediately and 10 million downloads is like a dream come true for them.

Apart from Roposo and Chingari, Mitron app is also gaining popularity among consumers. It has had 1.7 crore downloads in the last three months on the Google Play Store. Daily traffic of this app has increased 11 times since Tiktok was banned.
