Armed Forces Flag Day is observed every year on 7 December. Flag Day means the day of showing respect to the army of the country. A day to show solidarity to the brave soldiers who lost their life for the country and took martyrdom. While in the army who not only protected the borders but also sacrificed their lives in establishing peace by combating terrorists and extremists.

Armed Flag Day is a day to show civil solidarity to the brave soldiers and their families, hence it is the duty of every citizen to cooperate in the honour and welfare of the soldiers on 7 December. Funds are collected on this day. This money is collected by giving people a sticker of the flag. The price of the dark red and blue flag stickers is fixed. People give this amount and buy a sticker and put it on their chest. In this way, they show respect for the martyrs or the soldiers. The amount collected is deposited in the Flag Day Fund.

This amount is used in the welfare and rehabilitation of the families of the soldiers who martyred in the wars or the casualties. This amount is spent through the Sainik Welfare Board. Every citizen of the country should cooperate in the Flag Day Fund so that the flag of our country continues to touch the heights of the sky.
