Big operation of Indian Army in Srinagar today, Internet closed

Srinagar: The army has started a major search operation in an area of Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday morning. Internet services in Srinagar city have been suspended after inputs were received from the presence of terrorists. High alert has also been declared in the entire area.

According to the information received, Army Rashtriya Rifles along with SOG and CRPF have laid siege to the area after the news of terrorist activity in Jadibal area of Srinagar. The army has been informed about the presence of 2-3 terrorists in Jadibal, in view of which the area has been sealed. According to military sources, surveillance units have been activated in entire areas by issuing high alert in Srinagar city. All roads leading to Jadibal have been closed in view of the large operation against the terrorists.

For the last several days, security forces personnel have been carrying out anti-terror operations in all areas of the valley including South Kashmir. In the first 150 days of this year, the army has killed 102 terrorists. More than 20 terrorists have been killed in this month alone.
