New Delhi: On Indian security forces in Pulwama Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir once again voiced his emotions and expressed angst over the recent terrorist attack and said that the Indian Army will “finish the war that they began”.
By taking his twitter account, Gambhir said, “Indian Army ne yeh jang bhi shuru nahi ki (did not start even this war) but they will finish it and I am with them emotion-to-emotion, shoulder-to-shoulder.”
Indian Army ने यह जंग भी शुरू नहीं करी but they will bloody well finish it and I am with them emotion-to-emotion, shoulder-to-shoulder.

Earlier, the day India withdrew the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status accorded to Pakistan after the dastardly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, Gambhir in another tweet said India should continue their ‘MFN’ status, but with a twist. The former Indian cricketer wrote that the only difference is that this time “we the civilians will decide what ‘F’ stands for”.
I have some news for Pakistan. We should continue their ‘MFN’ status. Only thing is, that this time we the civilians will decide what ‘F’ stands for. https://t.co/5SsC6BlDvT

The decision to withdraw the MFN status was taken at the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg on February 15. India granted the MFN status to Pakistan in 1996. The MFN status is accorded by one country to another in international trade. India has also accorded MFN status to Bangladesh and Vietnam.

On February 14 Banned Pakistani terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out a brutal attack that killed 40 CRPF jawans in Awantipora area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The attack took place around 3:30 pm after a suicide bomber, identified as local boy Adil Ahmad Dar, in a Mahindra Scorpio car loaded with 350 kilograms of explosives rammed into a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying over 2500 CRPF personnel on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway.
Earlier this month, Gambhir had said that to have not been able to serve in the Indian Army will remain the only regret in his life.
