Indian Coast Guard has issued an official notification inviting male candidates for the post of Assistant Commandant (Group 'A' Gazetted Officer) for General Duty Branch. The online applications are for SC, ST and OBC category candidates only. According to the notification issued, the process of online application will start from December 21 on the official portal https://joinindiancoastguard.gov.in/. The last date of application for recruitment to these posts is 27 December 2020.

Candidates are to be recruited on the posts of Assistant Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Commandant, Commandant (JG), Deputy Inspector General, Inspector General, Additional Director General and Director-General.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to be a BE / BTech graduate with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university to apply. Other qualifications are given in the official notification, the link to download is available below. The prelims exam can be organized from 20 January to 20 February 2021 for recruitment.

Payscale:
Selected candidates will be hired on the maximum monthly scale of Rs 2.05 lakh as per 7th CPC.
