New Delhi: The brave fighter aircraft MiG-27 (MIG-27), which taught Pakistan a lesson in the Kargil war, will be given a farewell to the Indian Air Force on Friday. All the fighter jets of the only squadron of fighter jet MiG-27 will fly together for the last time at a function on the Jodhpur airbase this morning. The flight will be led by Group Captain Rao, in which 7 MIG-27 aircraft will be the last flypast.

These MIG-27s remained in service of the country for 38 years. The celebrations will begin at 9 am at the Jodhpur airbase. All these planes will phase out after the last flight. Surya Kiran's team will give a grand farewell to the fighter aircraft MiG-27 with the amazing feat. With this, not only the Indian Air Force, the MIG-27 aircraft will become a history around the world.

Defense Spokesperson Somvit Ghosh has told that the last squadron of the MiG-27 was stationed in Jodhpur. Earlier, 2 squadrons of MiG-27s from Hasimara Airways West Bengal have been retired. In the end, there were only 7 MiG-27s left and today all the pilots will fly these planes for the last time at the Air Force Station here. The planes will be saluted after landing on the ground. Let us tell you that the MiG-27 played an important role during the Kargil war of 1999 and due to its might, it was known as MIG-27 might in the Indian Air Force.
