Amarji Haldipur, a well-known Bollywood music director, appeared on a recent episode of Indian Idol Marathi. The iconic vocalist Lata Mangeshkar is a close friend of the senior musician, who recalls recollections of collaborating with her during concerts and music presentations. On the episode, Amar Haldipur told numerous untold anecdotes about 'Lata Didi.'

"Bhagwat Geeta has 18 chapters, and Lata Didi is the 19th chapter of Bhagwat Geeta," Amar ji stated of the famous singer. She was born to show everyone how to beautifully sing a song. Lata Didi is a Yogi Siddha. Since 1969, I've been playing violin in Lata Mangeshkar's live concerts and television programmes. I've known her since I was eighteen years old. I've known her for a long time.

He said, "I'd want to share a reminiscence from one of her live performances. When Lata Mangeshkar has to sing her song live, she still gets nervous. She still gets chills before singing a song, despite having reached the pinnacle of music and become the 'Gyansamradni.' She understands the concept of music. She is a music aficionado. Tantrums don't work in music, she knows. She is quite aware that she has performed many amazing songs, but she considers that to be in the past. She concentrates on the now."

He claimed he was reminiscing about another moment "Didi and I collaborated on a song. Tinhi Sanja is the Marathi name for that song, although she also sung it in Bengali. 'Amar ji yaha aaiye,' she added later when we met outside Laxmikant Pyarelal's recording studio. 'Amar ji, you have done a fantastic job in the Bengali version of Tinhi Sanja,' she said when I went to meet her and inquired how she was doing. Receiving this praise from her meant a lot to me."

Amarji Haldipur later spoke about how Lata Mangeshkar reacts when she likes a song. "Lata Mangeshkar never reacts whenever she likes a song or a piece of craft. She prefers to stay silent all the time. That is why, whenever she praises someone, it is a big thing for them because getting compliments from her is a really hard task," he shares.
