According to media reports, Sunny Hindustani, who has become a star, got emotional in the press conference that when her friend told about the audition of Indian Idol, she started trying to go to the show. But due to poverty her mother prevented her from going on the show. When she insisted, her mother said that this is your last chance, if you do not succeed in this opportunity, then you will not be allowed to participate in any show from the beginning.

Regarding her success, Sunny said that her mother's last words were that the son is not your father's shadow and I have no money to send you to the show. Sunny said that when he somehow reached the show with money from his friends, God listened to him. Sunny said that at first no one helped him, but now when he has succeeded, all are revolving around him. He said that to be successful one has to work hard, no one helps anyone.
