Mumbai: The radical Taliban regime in Afghanistan has completely banned the education of girls there. Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar questioned the Taliban's move and advocated the education of Muslim girls. However, Javed Akhtar's tweet was surrounded by Islamic fundamentalists from India. Javed Akhtar wrote in his tweet, 'Taliban have banned all women and girls from the schools, colleges, and universities and all the jobs in the name of Islam. Why have the Indian Muslim personal board and other Islamic scholars not condemned this? Why. Do they agree with the Taliban?"

After this tweet, the anger of Islamic fundamentalists erupted on Javed Akhtar. A Twitter user named Al Hind commented, 'Shyam Bihari's fourth generation, you do not interfere much in Shariat.' Adil Shine wrote, 'Javed bhai, understand the challenges of your country first, then think about the things of the neighboring country.' Salman commented, 'Brother, why is everyone leaning on making their own chaos? Do you have anything to do with Islam? Are you telling AIMPLB any connection to the Taliban? Why are you spreading your legs uselessly.'
Neelima Pawar wrote in her comment, ''Yes, 99% of Muslims of India agree and want to bring sharia here. That is why no matter how many pieces of Shraddha had been, they remain silent. Dream of Ghazwa-e-Hind. Uncle, you also wake up, because not only non-Muslims in Sharia, but those who do not believe in Sharia are also infidels. Shias and Ahmadis are all infidels in Pakistan.'' On December 21, 2022, the Taliban issued an order saying that Afghan women would no longer work and study. The Taliban had argued that "some subjects being taught in universities are against the principles of Islam."
