Father's Day will be celebrated on June 21, the relationship between father and child and its different forms has been described in our scriptures for a long time. Now a day before Father's Day, we are going to tell you the important story related to the mythological father-son.

1. Shiva Purana: Parvati, while going for a bath, makes an effigy of a beautiful child from the dirt of her body and then pours life into it with her powers. She instructs him that until she comes after taking bath, the child should not let anyone in. Shortly Shiva himself comes there and the child, who is following his mother's orders, stops him as well. Even when Shiva introduces himself, he does not let Lord Shiva in. Enraged, Shiva cuts off his head from the torso. When Parvati finds out, she is saddened and asks her husband to revive his son. Then Shiva puts the elephant's baby's head on the child's torso and makes him alive and names him Ganesh and proclaims him the leader in all his gans.

2. Prahlad-Hiranyakashipu: The story of Hiranyakashipu is opposite to Dhritarashtra. It is said that due to his power, Hiranyakashipu considered himself to be God and when his son Prahlad refused to consider him God and continued to worship Lord Vishnu, he became an enemy of his own son's life and tried to kill him. He kept plotting one after the other. He got the result of his deeds when Vishnu's incarnation killed him.
