New Delhi: The ongoing Paralympic Games in Japan's capital Tokyo have brought out great news for India. India's star table tennis player Bhavina Patel has made it to the final. Bhavina Patel is now just a step away from winning the first gold medal for India at the Tokyo Paralympics.

However, the challenge against Bhavina Patel in the semi-final was not easy. Bhavina Patel has beaten world number three Player Mayo in this match. Bhavina Patel defeated Miao 3-2 (7-11, 11-7, 11-4, 9-11, 11-8) in the clash. With the final, Bhavina Patel has secured her first medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games for India. Bhavina Patel made a stunning comeback after losing the first game in the semifinals. Bhavina had tightened her grip on the match by winning the second and third games. But they lost the fourth game.

However, Bhavina returned and won the fifth game and became India's first table tennis player to reach the Paralympic final. Bhavina Patel will now take to the field on August 29 to clinch the gold medal. Bhavina will have to take on China's Zhou Ying in the final.
