Indian Railways has announced to run Ganpati Special Trains in Mumbai and adjoining areas for the convenience of traveling people. With these special trains running on the railway side, there is good news for the people going to Konkan during the Ganpati festival. Western Railway and Konkan Railway have announced to run several Ganpati special trains from 3rd and 7th September for the convenience of the people. Out of which ticket booking for travel in some trains begins today. While looking for some will start from August 11.

It is celebrated with great fanfare on Ganpati in Konkan. Ganpati special trains are run from Mumbai and Pune every year on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. It has been announced to run two rounds of Ganpati special train between Ahmedabad and Kudal on a special fare. Train No. 09418 Ahmedabad-Kudal Special Train will start from Ahmedabad at 09:30 am on 7th September and 14th September and reach Kudal at 05:00 AM the next day.

09417 Kudal-Ahmedabad Special Train will start from Kudal at 7:00 am on 8th and 15th September and reach Ahmedabad at 03:15 the next day.
