Indian Railways launches special train for Char Dham Yatra, with this much fare

New Delhi: The coronavirus is now slowing down across the country. Meanwhile, Indian Railways is continuously expanding train services for the convenience of its passengers. Now, the Railways has announced to run special trains for Char Dham Yatra (Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameswaram, and Dwarkadhish) in a big boost to its passengers. After the success of the Shri Ramayana Yatra train, now IRCTC has now started Dekho Apna Desh Chardham Yatra.

According to the agency, the 16-day yatra will begin from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on September 18, 2021, and will cover the visit to Badrinath, including Mana village (near China border), Narasimha Temple (Joshimath), Rishikesh, Golden Beach of Puri including Jagannath Puri, Konark Surya Mandir, Chandrabhaga Beach, Rameswaram including Dhanushkodi, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Includes Dwarkadhish, including Shivrajpur Beach and Bet Dwarka. During this time passengers will travel about 8500 kilometers. The State of Art Deluxe AC tourist train will provide passengers with two of the best dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in coaches, sensor-based washroom functions, foot massagers among others. The train will be completely AC two coaches 1st AC and 2nd AC. Every coach on the train will have CCTV cameras and security guards.

IRCTC has launched this special tourist train under the Central Government's initiative "Dekho Apna Desh" to promote domestic tourism. It will have to pay a fare of Rs 78,585 per person to travel. It will provide accommodation in deluxe hotels, all meals, travel insurance, and IRCTC service managers at all places except hilly areas, along with traveling in AC train.
