New Delhi: Indian Railways is going to make arrangements for patients getting admitted in hospitals due to coronavirus, from beds to sanitizers. Indian Railways has issued orders to prepare medical related material in all its production units, zonal workshops. This type of material will also be manufactured in the Chief Manager Nishatpura Coach Factory.

Manish Aggarwal, the chief works manager of the coach factory, has said that he has sought a list of the goods that he needs from the state health department. As soon as the list is received, the work of making it will be started immediately. Railways have decided to manufacture essential supplies for patients in their production units in the initial order to support the Health Department, going ahead with the construction of sanitizers in their diesel sheds. So that emergency can be dealt with.

On giving information in this matter, Principal Executive Director of Railways AK Tiwari has said that orders have been issued to GMs of all zones. There is a need to show the capabilities of railways to deal with the situation arising in the country. The order said that a large number of goods used in the hospital should be manufactured.
