Indore: Indian Railways has taken a historic decision in view of the convenience and comfort of the passengers. As per the sources, the facility of providing massage service can be introduced in Indian Railways. Passengers will get this facility within 15 to 20 days. The railways ' move is being greatly appreciated for the passengers who have travelled long journeys in the trains.

The service will now be in only 39 trains running from Indore. Important trains like Dehradun-Indore Express (14317), New Delhi-Indore Intercity Express (12416) and Indore-Amritsar Express (19325) are also included, a railway official has informed. The proposal was placed by the Ratlam division of the Western Railway zone in front of the railways. The massage service in the railways can give a huge advantage to the government. This will not only increase revenues, but also add more and more passengers to the railways. According to an estimated figure, this will give the railways an additional revenue of Rs 20 lakh annually.

The railway department's media and communication officer Rajesh Bajpai has informed that for the first time, a contract of this kind has been signed. He has further said that within 15 to 20 days, the service will be given from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Each train will be deployed with three to five massages. The fee can stay from 100 to Rs 300.
