Due to the Corona epidemic, many works have been interrupted, in the meantime, Indian Railways has announced the running of Ahmedabad-Pune Superfast Duronto Special train in view of the demand and convenience of passengers. The Duronto Special between Ahmedabad and Pune will run from 16 March. According to Western Railway, train number 02297 Ahmedabad-Pune Duronto Special will run 3 days a week from 16 March 2021. Which will leave Ahmedabad at 22:30 on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday and reach Pune the next day at 07:10 in the morning.
Western Railway will run Superfast Duronto Special between Ahmedabad and Pune for the convenience of passengers and to clear the rush.

Similarly, train number 02298 Pune-Ahmedabad special train will run 3 days a week from March 15, 2021. Which will reach Ahmedabad on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from Pune at 21:35 pm and reach Ahmedabad at 06:25 am. En route, this train will stop at Vasai Road and Lonavala station. The train will have coaches of First AC, Second AC, and Third AC. Booking of train number 02297 will begin on March 15, 2021, at the PRS counter and the portal of IRCTC.
In addition, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Ernakul Superfast Duronto (01223) will depart from Lokmanya Terminus on Tuesday and Saturday at 20.50 every week. Which will reach Ernakulam at 18.10 pm the next day. This rail will be operational from 16 March to 8 June. While in return, this train will leave Lokmanya Tilak for Mumbai from Ernakulam on Wednesday and Sunday at 21:30. This train will reach Mumbai the next day at 18.15 pm. This train will be operational from 17 March to 6 June.
