Scientists are considered important for the development of the country. His discoveries give a new direction to the country as well as the world. Today we are going to tell you about a scientist from India who has worked with scientists considered as the father of the Indian space program, such as Vikram Sarabhai, Satish Dhawan and President of India APJ Abdul Kalam, but later I was considered the 'traitor' of the country. However, after four years, the scientist got justice and was acquitted of all the charges leveled against him.

We are talking about Nambi Narayanan, who has been awarded India's third highest civilian award 'Padma Bhushan' only last year. Born on 12 December 1941 in Tamil Nadu, Nambi was very fast from childhood to read and write. He joined ISRO only after doing engineering. However, in 1969, he went to Princeton University in the US to study rocket technology. After a year of this, he returned to India and started working in ISRO. The biggest earthquake occurred in the life of Nambi Narayanan in 1994, when he was arrested on charges of espionage. He was accused of selling intelligence documents related to the cryogenic engine to two intelligence officers from Maldives. Several other cases were filed against him, including violation of Government of India confidential law and corruption. After this, he started being considered as the 'traitor' of the country. According to media reports, the investigating officer used to torture Nambi during the interrogation. Used to beat them and tied them to a bed after beating. They were not allowed to sit for many hours. However, during this time, Nambi kept calling all the allegations against him false and calling himself innocent, but the police was not ready to accept them.

Nambi Narayanan also had to spend 48 days in jail. It is said that during this time whenever the crowd used to take them for hearing, the crowd present there used to shout and call them 'traitors' and 'spies'. Though the CBI later investigated the case and gave him a clean chit in the year 1996 and closed the case, but despite this, the Kerala government once again took the matter to the Supreme Court. However, in 1998, the court turned down the government's appeal and acquitted him of all charges. Nambi Narayanan later sued the Kerala government for falsely implicating him, following which the court ordered the Kerala government to pay compensation to Narayanan. He was given Rs 50 lakh as compensation. However, the Kerala government says that it will illegally give one crore and 30 lakh rupees as compensation for the arrest and harassment of Nambi Narayanan. Nambi Narayanan is currently 78 years old, but it remains a mystery even today why such a conspiracy was hatched against him and five others, why he was implicated.
