Due to a potential flaw in the anti-lock braking system (ABS) Indian Motorcycle recalled for models in the Indian Scout range in the US. The affected models will be in the 2017 to 2019 Indian Scout, Indian Scout Bobber and Indian Scout Sixty motorcycles, and the recall is apparently over the possibility of the ABS which may not have been filled with fluids to the correct standard.

The Indian Scout line-up includes the Scout, Scout Bobber and the Scout Sixty, and all these motorcycle models are affected by the recall, but all such models manufactured during 2016-2019 may not be affected by the recall.

In order to solve the problem, Indian Motorcycle will bleed the brakes of the affected bikes and refill it with the level of fluids required. The recall states that only certain motorcycles are likely to be affected, though the problem can be felt with the brake lever feeling spongy and soft.
