Indigenous social media app Koo to be hiring extensively in next 1 year

New Delhi: Domestic social media platform 'Koo' is going to increase its workforce to 500 in the next year. For this, the company plans to appoint engineering, product, and community management teams. Koo, the leading rival of our social media platform Twitter, has recently registered a spectacular rise with a 10 million user mark. The company currently has 200 employees on its payroll.

Koo co-founder Apramayam Radhakrishna explained, 'The company currently has 200 employees. With the new appointment in engineering, product, and community management departments, the number of workers will reach 500 in the next year.' The social media company will also appoint new employees in areas such as government relations and marketing, brand marketing, but will include smaller teams.

Radhakrishna said, 'We want to attract employees with the best talent who can work for us and take Indian technology internationally.' The Koo set up by Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidavatka was launched last year so that users can openly express themselves and join the stage in Indian languages. Koo can also be used in many other languages including Hindi, Telugu, and Bangla.
