New Delhi: In India, Tata Motors has begun testing the 2023 version of the Nexon, its best-selling compact SUV. A photo of the test mule for the updated SUV that revealed some design details was taken while it was heavily camouflaged.

The tough four-wheeler last received minor cosmetic updates in 2020. The new model will probably take some styling cues from the Curvv concept SUV.

In 2022, Nexon surpassed models like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai CRETA to become the SUV with the highest sales volume in India. However, Tata Motors has chosen to completely revamp its well-liked offering in light of the launch of newer models in the compact SUV segment.

Based on the brand's new design ethos, the updated vehicle will probably have a more upscale appearance.

The 2023 Tata Nexon will feature a powerful bonnet, LED headlamps with DRLs, a sleek grille, a wide air dam, and a raked windscreen in keeping with the brand's contemporary design ethos. The SUV will have designer alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, roof rails, and ORVMs on the sides. Connected-type LED taillamps will be installed on the car's back end.

A 1.5-liter turbo-diesel and a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine will probably be available for the 2023 Tata Nexon. Either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox should be able to handle the SUV's transmission duties.

The Tata Nexon's interior is a secret until 2023. However, we anticipate that the SUV will come equipped with a dual-tone dashboard, leatherette upholstery, a cooled glove box, ventilated seats, an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a touchscreen infotainment system. There should be multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, and electronic stability control to ensure the safety of the passengers (ESC).
