Dehradun: The weather is going to change in Uttarakhand from this evening. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in the mountains and hail in the plains. In Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, and Dehradun of Uttarakhand, there is a strong chance of thunderstorms. At the same time, there may be snowfall in high altitude areas.

Let us know that on one side there will be snowfall at 3200 meters or more, on the other hand, there is a possibility of hail and lightning in places like Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar, etc. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has also instructed people to stay alert. Simultaneously, IMD has also predicted hail storms in Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Dehradun, Pithoragarh districts. Meteorologist Rohit Thapliyal told that while there will be rain and hail in the state, on the one hand, strong winds will also run at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in the plains.

The forests in Uttarakhand are blazing these days. The fire in the mountains is such that many houses and cattle have been caught in the fire. In such a situation, if the forecast of the Meteorological Department proves to be true, then the rain will be helpful to a great extent to control the fire.
