Rajnath Singh inaugurates mobile lab amid lockdown

New Delhi: The country's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday launched the first-of-its-kind Mobile Virology Research and Diagnostics Laboratory (MVRDL) in the country. It is the first such lab in the country to test the corona virus, which has been prepared by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) related to defense.

The DRDO has built it in view of the rapid spread of Corona in the country. This lab has been prepared for the screening of coronavirus and for research on it. The specialty of this mobile lab is that 1-2 thousand samples can be examined in it every day. Inaugurating the lab, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, many timely decisions were taken to stop the coronavirus, due to which the situation in the country is better than other countries today.

Rajnath Singh also praised the DRDO for the fact that the Bio Safety Level 2 and Level 3 labs have been started in just 15 days. It usually takes six months to prepare such a lab, but in view of the serious condition of the corona, it has been made in 15 days.
