New Delhi: The G20 Presidency is responsible to bring the G20 agenda together with consultation with other members and to develop the global economy. The G20 comprises 19 countries and 43 heads of delegations. The G20 presidency is held rotating presidency annually but this time India is holding the presidency this year.
India G20 Presidency theme is Vasudhaiva Kutumbaka which means one earth, one family, one future. This is inspired by the Sanskrit scripture Maha Upanishad. It tells the importance of fundamentals of life, environmental sustainability, and responsible lifestyle choices (individually and nationally) to create a cleaner, greener, and brighter future.
G20 presidency mission is Amirt kaal which aims to promote and focus on a life movement that aims environmental awareness and sustainable living. India aims for peace, growth, and rule-based order.

The summit had conducted various meetings which were hosted by different cities within the year. Recently on September 9th-10th, 2023, the meeting will be held in New Delhi.
