New Delhi: Saksham, a prestigious Government of India initiative aimed at combating unemployment in the country, is extending an invitation to recruitment agencies and consultants to apply and become part of the Saksham Empanelled Vendor or Saksham Rojgar Sathi program.

As empanelled vendors, you will gain exclusive access to job mandates from various companies, utilize an AI-powered technology platform to manage low-income workforce hiring, and receive expert guidelines to enhance your growth. Spearheaded by TIFAC, a government body under the Department of Science and Technology, the mission is currently focusing on onboarding agencies from Maharashtra. If you are interested, the Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued for this purpose.

"At Saksham, we aim to guide recruitment agencies of all sizes, including single-person companies, and empower them with our intellectual properties and brand value. This step will not only boost revenues for recruitment agencies but also take significant strides in resolving the unemployment issue," says Dayal Kalyan Kangne, Lead Coordinator of the mission in Maharashtra.
The impact of this mission has already touched the lives of over 40 lac unemployed individuals and aims to empower more than 50 crore low-income segment workers in India.

India's blue-collar recruitment industry has remained largely unorganized, but with our intervention and technology, we hope to empower agencies to serve more jobseekers and play a vital role in reducing unemployment," says Dr. Pradeep Srivastava, Executive Director, TIFAC.

With over 100,000 recruitment agencies and independent consultants eligible to apply, this program will soon be open to agencies across India. Currently, agencies from Maharashtra have already begun applying to become Saksham Rojgar Sathi. The announcement of selected consultants is just around the corner.

Regardless of your existing strength and turnover, the Government of India mission welcomes all agencies and consultants to apply. Selections will be based on genuineness and credibility, aiming to make every credible organization a Saksham Rojgar Sathi.

"We are in communication with companies across India, encouraging them to recruit through credible agencies, particularly for low-income workforce positions. Instances of fraud and incompetence have led to a lack of suitable employment opportunities for deserving candidates. Hence, this movement is of utmost importance," adds Prashant Nikam, former IRAS officer and Chairman of Sapio Analytics, the nodal agency for Saksham.

Sapio Analytics, a partner of multiple governments in their livelihood missions, also collaborates with organizations to enhance the performance of their low-income workforce. TIFAC, the apex technology forecasting body of India, is dedicated to resolving national issues of significance using technology. Join the Saksham mission today and be part of the solution to India's unemployment challenges!
