Another Indian Grandmaster Koneru Hampi, who is participating in the tournament, has played his bet draw with Georgia Grandmaster Khotenashvili Bella. Indian Grandmaster Dronavalli Harika played in the ninth round of the FIDE Women's Grand Prix Chess tournament after 31 moves to draw from Russia's Alina Kashlinskaya.

According to media reports, this has kept the Indian players in seventh place in the table with 4.5 points. World number nine player Harika will play Annas Mujichuk of Ukraine in the tenth round.

Let us tell you that in the meantime, Nena Jaganidze of Georgia has maintained a single lead with a win over world champion Xu Wenjun. She has seven points while her nearest rival Alexandra Gorayachkina has 5.5 points.
