Dehradun: Leader of opposition and senior Congress leader Indira Hridayesh passed away in New Delhi this morning due to heart attack. Leaders have condoled her demise. Recently, party state in-charge Devendra Yadav said, "She had come for a meeting at Uttarakhand Sadan in Delhi where she died of a heart attack. Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has now condoled her demise.

He tweeted and wrote, "Just now, the sad news of the passing away of senior Congress leader Dr. Indira Hridayesh ji is deeply saddened. Indira Behenji adorned many positions in her long political career and mastered the work of the Legislature. Sister-in-law's departure is a personal loss to me".

 

At the same time, he has also written in his tweet, "I pray for the peace of the departed soul and request the Supreme Father, God, to place the soul of Indira Behenji at his feet. My thoughts are with Sumit Hridayesh and the entire family in this difficult hour of grief. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti".
