Indore Catholic Sabha organized an award ceremony to honour 25 meritorious students from the diocesan level, Indore. The Merit Award distribution ceremony was held after the Holy Eucharist at St. Vincent Pallottil Church, Sukhliya, Indore, on Sunday the 20th December 2020.

Indore Bishop Dr. Chacko Thottumarickal was the Chief Guest of the function. Parishioners have given a warm a welcome to Bishop Swamiji. After concluding the Holy Eucharist, he distributed the prizes for the promising students who got the highest marks in 5th, 10th, 12th, graduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. The meritorious students were awarded with mementos, citations and cash prizes. He advised all the students to work harder in life to get sure success.

Bishop Swamiji delivered a very motivating speech to inspire children as well as the whole faithful, citing the ongoing Covid crisis.  The Advent-2020 is considered an early arrival/administration of Corona Vaccine in our body to keep us safe, he said.

All the meritorious students were felicitated and blessed by the Bishop. The parishioners congratulated the students for the exemplary performance in their respective stream of education. On the post graduate level, the Ph.D merit award was given to Mrs.  Sweety Jacqueline Francis. The prizes for other graduates include Justin B Mathews (M.E), Ashwin Antony (B.A) Amulya George (B.E), Angela Antony (B.Sc Nursing), Monali Lakra (B.com, LLB) Joycee Benedict (B.Ed) and Greeshma Thomas (B.Ed).  

The whole programme was administered by the Catholic Sabaha. The President of the Catholic Sabha Mr. Joseph T V, Parish Secretary Mr. Sylvester Lakra delivered their inspiring speech to motivate the students and parents. The entire team of Catholic Sabha made a commendable support on the programme. The program was anchored by Mr. Joshua Phillip. A vote of thanks was made by Kum. Amulya George.
