Indore: There is opposition to the central government's Agneepath scheme across the country. In Madhya Pradesh, youth have taken to the streets in Indore city for the second day today against the scheme. At the railway station here at 7 am on Friday, the youths who arrived in the army recruitment created a ruckus. The policemen on duty here used mild force after tahrir. Force of nearby police stations has also been deployed on the occasion. Thereafter, the students gathered and reached Laxmibai Nagar station. The students blocked the station and also stopped the train from Pune to Indore.  
 
In view of the performance of the same students, 2 trains, including memu from Indore to Ujjain, have been cancelled. In fact, when the youths arrived to protest in the morning, the police prevented them from going ahead. Because of this, they started creating a ruckus. After some time, heavy force was deployed here. In Mhow near Indore, the Army has taken care of the entire system for this. On Thursday, the commissioner had also spoken to the conchig operators and banned sending students going for army recruitment to Mhow. According to officials, the students who reached the railway station. He is from another district. Amid protests, the government late on Thursday night raised the age limit of the Agneepath scheme from 21 years to 23 years for the first year.  

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has appealed to the protesting students not to resort to violence. He said that for two years, there has been no opportunity to recruit in the Army. This has stalled the recruitment process. With this in mind, the Government has just increased the age limit for the recruitment of Agniveers by two years. Appeal to the youth not to protest, to prepare for recruitment. It was reported that the angry youths pelted stones at the police. Some policemen were hurt.
