Swachh Survekshan 2020: Indore 'Cleanest City' for fourth consecutive year

Indore: The cleanest city of the country, Indore has once again won its glory in the Cleanliness Survey 2020. The list of top clean cities of the country has been released. In the first survey conducted in 2016, the title of the cleanest city of the country was given to Mysore. Since then Indore, the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh, has held the top position for 4 consecutive years (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020).

The ranking of sanitation survey, released on the basis of waste collection and transportation, production and execution, sustainable sanitation and citizen participation and innovation. Based on the total 6000 marks in these criteria, the final results are prepared on the basis of feedback from the public as well as the independent institution and field evaluation authorized by the Government of India.

Celebrations have started in Indore, which is going to be number-1 for the fourth consecutive time in terms of cleanliness. Rangoli has been made on roads in many places. Along with this, people have expressed pleasure. Indore has also stood first in all three-quarters of the Swachhta Survekshan -2020 league. Surat is on second and Navi Mumbai on the third.
