The city was inundated due to the heavy rains given late Thursday night, while health services also collapsed at the state's largest Maharaja Yashwant Rao (MY) hospital, due to flooding of inmate wards and other wards in the hospital. Problems were encountered.

At the same time, the wall of a shop located behind the Orbit Mall in Vijay Nagar suddenly collapsed, due to which two two-wheelers hit it. The police, who reached the spot, informed the fire brigade of the accident, it was by god's grace that no human was present there at that time, otherwise, there could have been a great loss of life.
