Indore: Raids on two dairies, uses acetic acid to tear milk

The district administration Indore has initiated strict action against adulterants with goons and mining mafia. On Tuesday, on the instructions of Collector Manish Singh, the team of Administration and Food & Drugs Department raided two factories making Paneer, Mawa, Cream and Sweets at the Polo Ground. Such a substance was found in Dabish, which can give us a dangerous disease like cancer. The team has seized a large number of such chemical and adulterated materials from here.

Major irregularities have been reported at Sadhguru Dairy and Mayaram Dairy in Dabish. Dirt was found in and outside the factory premises. Acetic acid was being used to tear milk here. Approx 70 liters of cans filled with acid have been seized from both factories. This acid is also extremely harmful to health, which can lead to dangerous diseases like cancer. Additional Collector Abhay Bedekar on the spot also took samples of all the food items and seized other material including acetic acid.

Besides, 110-liter control blue kerosene was also seized during action on Standard Dairy nearby. This kerosene was to be distributed to the poor, but with the connivance of the control operators, it reached the factories. The team has also seized blue kerosene. The team has also found dirt in these factories producing food items. Rasuka's action can also be taken by the Collector against the culprits after receiving the report from the team.
