In Indore, a 20-year-old youth was seriously injured after he was stabbed by a person over an old rivalry in Banganga area on Tuesday. The accused has been arrested by the police a few hours after the incident and started an investigation into the case. According to the police, the incident took place in Bhagirathpura area on Tuesday at noon. Shubham Chouhan, a resident of Bhagirathpura was stabbed by accused Hemant Borasi of the area.

The accused stabbed Shubham thrice with a knife due to which he was seriously injured. People informed the police when the injured youth was rushed to the hospital. The police have registered a case under section 307,294, 506 of the IPC against Hemant and arrested him. Preliminary investigation revealed that Hemant and Shubham had an argument over some issue two years ago. Then, Shubham had lodged a complaint against Hemant. Since then the accused wanted to take revenge. On Tuesday, Shubham came to attend a program at a relative’s place in Bhagirathpura when the accused attacked him. The police are trying to take the statements of the injured person and his family members. The accused is also being questioned about the incident.
