Indore: The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) is gearing up to host the first ever Test match in the city and have expedited the preparations. MPCA secretary Milind Kanmadikar.
“The Board has approached MPCA and we had accepted to host third test between October 8 and 12 instead of second match from September 30.
” Batsman Ajinkya Rahane revealed that the second Test will be held at the Holkar Stadium in Indore from September 30-October 4, while the iconic Eden Gardens has been given the third and final Test from October 8-12, according to seamer Mohammad Shami's tweet. Kanmadikar said:
“The preparations are in full swing for hosting the test. As far as pitch and ground are concerned, we are up to the mark.”
