In Punjab, 82 patients lost their lives on Monday due to covid infection. 1293 new cases of infection have been reported. The condition of 250 hospitalised infected remains critical. So far, 15,160 people have lost their lives in the state.

According to the Health Ministry, samples of 9698676 people have been tested so far in the state, out of which 580829 people have been reported positive. 545674 people have also recovered from infection. 19995 are active cases. 3198 people admitted in the hospital have been placed on oxygen support.

Three new black fungus cases found here. It has been revealed that three new black fungus cases have come up in Punjab on Monday. The good thing is that for the last two days, not a single infected with black fungus has lost his life. The number of patients suffering from it has now reached 384 in the State. 336 cases are related to Punjab, another 48 cases are from other States. So far, 52 people have lost their lives in the state due to black fungus.
