New Delhi: The former CEO of India's IT giant Infosys has given a big boost to Artificial Intelligence. Speaking on the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence in India, he said that the country can become a world leader in this matter. Sikka said that India has the strength to lead the world in the AI sector. He said that to become a leader in the AI sector, India would have to incorporate AI extensively in its education system.
He said that in the next 20-25 years, Artificial Intelligence is going to prove to be a big change for Indian society. He said that automation has just begun. The former CEO of Infosys said that if we were successful in bringing AI into education, then the country has the potential to create artificial intelligence systems in a big way. He said that it can make our country a world leader in terms of AI skills and AI talent.
He said that in the matter of artificial intelligence our country is at a critical juncture and we need to work together on many different levels for this. In fact, on the request of the PM last month, Vishal Sikka said in a report presented before the NITI Aayog that the reach of AI can be increased in Indian society on a large scale. During this time Sikka gave many important suggestions to the government.
