New Delhi: Forbes has released the list of the world's most prestigious companies. In which Indian IT giant Infosys has found a place in the top three. The company has been ranked third. 17 Indian companies including Infosys, TCS and HDFC have been included in this list. Infosys was ranked 31st last year. Accordingly, the company has taken the third place by taking a quantum leap. Global payment technology company Visa is ranked first on the list and Italy's car-maker Ferrari is in second place.

Forbes said Infosys leads the Asian list in this list. Infosys is followed by Netflix which ranks fourth on the list. It is followed by Pay Pal (5), Microsoft (6), Walt Disney (7), Toyota Motor (8), MasterCard (9), Costco Wholesale (10).
Indian companies Tata Consultancy Services (22) and Tata Motors (31) are among the top 50 companies. At the same time, Tata Steel (105), Larsen & Toubro (115), Mahindra & Mahindra (117), HDFC (135), Bajaj Finzerv (143), Piramal Enterprises (149), Steel Authority of India (153), HCL Technologies (155), Hindalco Industries (157), Wipro (168), HDFC Bank (204), Sun Pharma Industries (217), General Insurance Corporation of India (224), ITC (231) and Asian Paints (248).

This list of Forbes' 250 most respected companies in the world includes 59 US companies. It is followed by Japan, China and India. Altogether 82 companies from these three countries are included in this list. The figure was 63 last year. This list has been prepared on the basis of reliability, social conduct products and services.
