Arpita Ganesh, popularly known as the "Indian Bra Lady" found her dream in a unique way. She started a lingerie brand that helps women find the right sizes of bras, styles and fits at reasonable affordable prices.
She decided to leave her ten year long career in advertising after she experienced a bra-fitting session in New York. She went on to set up "Buttercups" in 2008. India's first high-end lingerie brand that provided personalized sizing and fitting for women.
Buttercups has provided fittings for more than 3000 women. This year Buttercups has raised angel funding from Angie Mahtaney and Kanwaljit Singh.
This shows that anything can be achieved if its done with passion and determination.
