International Court of Justice stays death sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav, Big win for India

In the Kulbhushan Jadhav matter today the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has stayed the death sentence awarded to him. The Pakistan awarded him death sentenced.

The Pakistan had denied consular access for 16time to India after which the later took the Pakistan to the ICJ on May 8 for violating the Vienna Convention.

The decision was declared by the Justice Ronny Abraham of the ICJ and as per the sources, news asserted that the under the Vienna Convention, India should have received consular access to seek justice for the former Indian Naval officer.
