International Forest Day celebrated every year. It is celebrated every year on 21 March. Indeed, the United Nations celebrated International Forest Day on 21 March 2019. The day states the important role of forests in environmental sustainability and food security. The main objective of World Forest Day is to raise awareness about forest conservation and strengthen the sustainable management, conservation, and sustainable development of all types of forests for the benefit of present and future generations.

Indeed, the goal of this day is also to provide an opportunity to the people how to manage forests and how to use them in a sustainable manner for many purposes. Through this day, efforts are made to educate the people about the importance of forests and their importance. Today, due to modernization and industrialization, continuous felling of trees is happening which is not at all true. Assuming a report, a total of 7.3 crore acres of forest areas have been wiped out in the year 2016.

At this time, forests are being cleared all over the world, which is very wrong. Rare species of plant and plant species and rare species of fauna are becoming increasingly extinct, due to which the cutting of the forest is responsible. However, due to the constantly decreasing number of trees, the problem of global warming is also increasing rapidly and the balance of the environment and nature is also deteriorating. Because of this, the main purpose of celebrating this day is to inspire people to save the trees, the forest.
