International drug racket: IAF officer held in connection

Hyderabad: An Indian Air Force (IAF) officer was taken into the custody after the raid that have been conducted for exposing an international ring dealing in drugs like Ecstasy.

Air Force Wing Commander Rajasekhar Reddy arrested in Nanded in Maharashtra as he had allegedly been tracked for a couple of days both by the Narcotics Control Bureau and the Air Force.

According to officials, “Hyderabad was the base where amphetamines, which are used in several party drugs, were being manufactured at a leased factory. The drugs were allegedly trafficked mainly to countries like Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.”
