The International Tennis Association (ITF) has officially revoked its membership in the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF). The ITF, in March, also cancelled all tournaments held in these countries, suspending the RTF and the Belarusian Tennis Association due to Russia's military campaign in Ukraine. Russian and Belarusian athletes are being played under the auspices of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) or as fair players.
The ATP and WTA have also cancelled the Kremlin Cup, scheduled to be held in Moscow in October. Wimbledon tournament organizers have also banned Russian and Belarusian tennis players from participating in the draw at the end of April due to the situation in Ukraine.
