Tiger means tiger is not the king of the forest but is no less than the emperor. Today is International Tiger Day and every year on 29th July, this day is organized for a very special purpose. Every day, the practice of celebrating this day began with the intention of spreading awareness among the public to save this endangered species all over the world.

The same day is also known as Global Tiger Day. It is more dangerous than it looks, in fact. Many people may still think of raising it at home. But can you really raise a tiger at home like a dog or a cat? This is what we tell you about today on the occasion of International Tiger Day.

Tigers and lions cannot be reared in India without legal permission. These animals have not been allowed to rear individually under the Wild Life Protection Act. If you still want to rear a lion or a tiger, then permission has to be obtained from the Chief Wildlife Warden of the state. You have to meet every need of this animal. In addition, full security arrangements have to be made. If there is an accident, then you will be responsible for that. If the wall of your house collapses in the earthquake, the tiger breaks the wall and escapes and kills someone, then you have to be prepared to face legal proceedings.

History of International Tiger Day:-
Tell you that tigers are found only in 13 countries around the world, while 70 percent of its tigers are in India alone. In 2010, the tiger population in India had reached nearly 1,700. This was followed by a summit in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2010 to spread awareness about tigers among the people. It announced the celebration of International Tiger Day every year. In this conference, many countries have aimed to double the tiger population by 2022.
