An interstate arms dealer was nabbed by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police on Sunday, according to an official. He was wanted in a firefight and weapons trafficking case.

On February 3, the accused, Nazim Ali, 30, a native of Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended near Murga Mandi, Gazipur, Delhi. DCP Jasmeet Singh said, "There was information in the Special Cell regarding the activities of Nazim Ali absconding for three months in a case of shoot out in the vicinity of Amar Colony, Delhi."

On the basis of precise information that the accused Nazim would be at Murga Mandi, Gazipur, Delhi, the police squad set up a trap and apprehended him there. The accused was found with a single shot.315 pistol and four live cartridges.

During Nazim's interrogation, it was discovered that he had been missing for three months in two criminal cases involving the Amar Colony police station in Delhi, one of which included murder. On the basis of precise information that the accused Nazim would be at Murga Mandi, Gazipur, Delhi, the police squad set up a trap and apprehended him there.
