Islamabad: Inzamam-ul-Haq, former captain of Pakistan cricket team, has said that there are undoubtedly high-scoring matches in today's round, but he has aggression like former great batsman Sir Vivian Richards of West Indies cricket team, any batsman of today's era I did not see.
Inzamam-ul-Haq said in his YouTube video, 'I was once batting with the great Richards. He came to me and said that I want to see who among us can hit a big six. I laughed and said, of course, I thought he was a retired player and I was very young at that time and I believed in myself. He said that in the first over, he hit a six which went to the parking lot. After this I hit sixes which came out of the dressing room. I told him happy that I have hit a big six. He laughed saying that the game is not over yet.
Inzamam further said, 'In the third over, Richards hit another six, which went through the top of the dressing room behind a house built there. After this, he hit three more big sixes. Even after retirement, Richards was playing this level of cricket. He was a great player. Inzamam said, 'I do not see the aggression like Richders even today in spite of instant cricket. It was a high level of passion.
