The 'Made in India' iPhone-16, recently launched globally by Apple, is witnessing a tremendous increase in pre-orders in the country. This new iPhone has become available for sale in the Indian market from today, 20 September. Trade analysts say that due to the tremendous demand for iPhone-16, its exports are also expected to increase.

Big interest in iPhone-16: Reports say that customers are very excited about the new iPhone-16. The main reason for this is the new updates made in the iPhone-16 and its price being lower than the 15 series. In India, this new iPhone is available in both retail and online stores from today. This includes Apple's BKC (Mumbai) and Saket (New Delhi) stores as well as the company's authorized sellers.

Increased demand for base variant: Counterpoint Research Director Tarun Pathak has said that this time more demand is being seen for the base variant of the new iPhone-16 as compared to last year. Apart from this, companies are also offering attractive financing options for customers, due to which it is expected that the iPhone-16 series will break previous records.

Benefit from demand for premium phones: CyberMedia Research (CMR) VP Prabhu Ram says that Apple is benefiting greatly from the growing demand for premium phones in the Indian smartphone market. Along with this, apart from iPhone-16, sales of iPhone-13 and 14 series are also increasing. According to industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, pre-order sales of iPhone-16 are estimated to reach around 37 million units in the first weekend globally.

Apple's growing business in India: Apple's share in India is 6 percent by volume and 16 percent by value. Apple's business in India is growing rapidly and its revenue can cross the $ 10 billion mark by 2025.
