The Match 42 of VIVO IPL 2018 will be played between the bottom-placed Delhi Daredevils the top-placed Sunrisers Hyderabad yet again on Thursday at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, Delhi.

The DD have three wins from ten matches and are now at desperate station; if they drop one more match, even the ‘mathematical probability of them making the playoffs’ will fade away.

On the other hand Sunrisers Hyderabad is almost through to the playoffs, as Ken Williamson-led-SRH would have shifted their target to concluding the league season among the top two teams.

In the previous match between these two teams, the DD posted a competitive total on a difficult surface in the pearl city Hyderabad, but permitted the Sunrisers to get out of jail as DD had 28 to defend off the death overs, yet came up on the wrong side of the result; they permitted the hosts to chase the runs with one ball remaining.
