The grand opening of the IPL began today at 6:20 pm. First of all the IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla greeted the audience. Immediately after this, Bollywood star Varun Dhawan started the grand opening ceremony from his finest dance numbers. Varun danced on many songs from his Bollywood movie. After Varun, Prabhu Deva, who was called King of Dance, gave four chicks in the opening ceremony .

Varun and Prabhu also danced together .After this, Tamanna Bhatia actress of Bollywood and Tamil films forced the audience to hang on by giving a fabulous presentation on many songs, including the famous song Jio Re Bahubali of Bahubali.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez enthralled fans with a scintillating act.

At the Wankhede Stadium where galaxy of satars deelivered hot dance moves to thrill the stage, The cricketing carnival  witnessed a sparkling launch as many celebrities  performed in the opening ceremony.The cricket lovers enjoyed a cricketing and entertainment spectacle like never before.

Mika Singh has also entertained the crowd with some of his popular songs. The opening ceremony has been magnificent so far.

Fans are lookig ahead to a lot of excitement as Chennai Team will clash with defending champions Mumbai Team in the first league of the tournament shortly after the fascinating launch of the cricketing extravaganza.
