Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli warned the players at the team's first virtual meeting for the IPL, requesting the players to maintain a biologically safe environment (bio bubble). A mistake will spoil the entire tournament.
It was a different team meeting but Kohli initially requested fellow players to follow the orders implemented by the authorities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). To be played in the UAE from 19 September to 10 November.
He said, "This (violation) will be dealt with very strictly." For accidental violations, players can be sent on segregation for 7 days and then return only in the test (in the bio bubble). He said, 'If the player does this on purpose, they will have to face serious results. The players are about to sign a document, which will mention the result". The Indian captain said to his franchise team, "We have to understand that it is necessary to have the biologically safe environment." Kohli said, "I am waiting for the team to go to the first practice session. This is something we are all going to enjoy. We have the opportunity to create a good team culture from day one".
