Rajasthan Royals (RR) announced their final set of replacement players on Tuesday. Evin Lewis and Oshane Thomas, both from the West Indies, will join the Royals team as replacement players for the remainder of the IPL 2021, which begins on September 19 in the UAE. Jos Buttler will be replaced by Evin Lewis, a left-handed opening hitter from Trinidad and Tobago. Lewis, 29, made his debut for West Indies during their 2016 World T20 campaign in India and has 1318 runs with a strike rate of 158 in 45 T20Is.

In 57 One-Day Internationals, the flashy hitter has scored 1847 runs for West Indies. His outstanding performances for the national team earned him a contract with the Mumbai Indians in 2018, where he scored 430 runs in 16 matches between the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Oshane Thomas, a Jamaican right-arm fast bowler who currently plays for the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League, will join the Royals as a replacement for Ben Stokes.24-year-old Oshane Thomas had made his international debut in 2018, having faced India in a bilateral ODI and T20I series.
