New Delhi: IPL 2022 begins today i.e. Saturday. In this order, the first match of this season will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium. Where CSK would like to make a new start under the captaincy of new captain Ravindra Jadeja. Shreyas Iyer is also going to take over the command of KKR for the first time.

Meanwhile, a picture is going viral on social media, in which two former Team India captains Kohli and Dhoni are seen together. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) shared a photo of the two on Twitter. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) practised at the same venue on Friday, with Kohli and Dhoni sharing the dressing room for almost a decade. Kohli made his international debut under Dhoni's leadership and became part of the leadership group in 2012. Kohli took over as Test captain in 2015. Then in January 2017, Virat Kohli also became the ODI captain of Team India.

Interestingly, these two players will participate as batsmen in IPL 2022. Dhoni, CSK's only full-time captain so far, quit the captaincy on March 24. In his place, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been given command of the team. Dhoni is a four-time IPL winning captain and holds the record for most wins by a single captain.
